What is a periodic review and what do I need to do if I receive one?

Important

If we have contacted you for a periodic review, you must submit the requested documents within 4 weeks. If we have not heard from you within 4 weeks, we may need to suspend or terminate your account.

A periodic review is a standard risk management process that ensure we, as your merchant account provider, have an accurate assessment of your current and future processing needs. During onboarding, we ask you to fully explain your business model, payments process, and expected volumes. In an effort to stay involved in your growth, we conduct periodic underwriting reviews to ensure we have the most up-to-date information in our system.

Periodic review process

  1. GlobePay notifies the account holder of the periodic review via online portal and email. The email subject will be “GlobePay Periodic Review: please submit the required documentation”.
  2. You must collect the following documents:
    1. New proof of ID for any that have expired
    2. Updated business bank statement (issued in the last 3 months)
    3. Other proof of business activity
  3. Login to the GlobePay online portal and upload the requested documents
