What is a transaction investigation and what do I need to do if I receive a transaction investigation?

What is a transaction investigation?

A transaction investigation may occur if a payment has been flagged as unusual during routine transaction monitoring. 

Transaction investigation process

  1. GlobePay notifies the account owner of the transaction investigation, sending the relevant information and a request for evidence via the Globepay merchant portal and email. The email subject will be “Transaction Authenticity Investigation”.
  2. You must collect the requested documents/evidence and submit these via our merchant portal before the due date.
  3. Once you have submitted evidence, we will forward it to relevant department or our partners for review. The feedback will be sent to your login email address.
